King Charles II hid at the Old Hall Lane property in 1651 after his defeat at the Battle of Worcester.

Moseley Old Hall's property operations manager Arun Chand says: “We have exciting plans for 2025 to develop the area of our site known as Stablecroft, which visitors who are familiar to Moseley will know for its wildflower meadow.

"We aim to make the space more accessible to visitors and increase the biodiversity of the area as well as improving the outdoor offer in the adjacent wooded area which features our current play area.”

The attraction featuring the grade listed house, garden, woodland and a tearoom is open up until Sunday from 10am-4pm. Then from February 14 to 23.
