One further Covid death in region
One further coronavirus death has been confirmed in Birmingham.
The death at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust means the total number of Covid deaths is now 7,574.
And seven more deaths were confirmed in the region's care homes this week, taking the total number of deaths of people who contracted coronavirus in care homes to 1,397.
A total of 800 people have died at the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust, 736 at the Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust and 720 at the Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust.
Meanwhile, 1,712 have died at the Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust and 1,168 have died at the University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust.
And a total of 2,607 people have died at the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. The trust runs the Queen Elizabeth, Heartlands, Solihull and Good Hope hospitals.
