Parish councillors have now called a meeting to be held tonight online when the problems surrounding the car park are expected to be discussed.

Worcestershire county councillor Peter Tomlinson said: "I was told the car park was not open and barriers were there because of health and safety.

"Wychavon District Council has inspected the car park and found there is nothing wrong and told the Parish Council to remove the concrete blocks.

"The planning conditions on which the car park was made was that it should be open at all times."

Ray Kirby, chairman of Hartlebury Parish Hall management committee, said: "We repeatedly keep asking for the blocks to be removed.

"The Parish Council said they were going to get the car park repaired.

"We had a phone call about the possible use of the hall as a testing centre.

"I said the hall was available but a car park would be needed."

Members of the Parish Council could not be contacted.

The meeting of the Parish Council is set to take place online at 7pm tonight.
