One coronavirus death confirmed at hospital in the region
One further coronavirus death has been confirmed at a hospital trust in the region, in the latest figures released by NHS England.
The death was confirmed at the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHBT).
No new deaths were announced for hospitals across the Black Country and Staffordshire, in figures released on Monday.
The latest figures take the total of deaths in hospitals in the region to 2,622.

One patient was confirmed to have died at the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust on October 2. It takes the total number of coronavirus deaths at the trust, which runs Queen Elizabeth, Good Hope, Heartlands and Solihull hospitals, to 1,012.
Meanwhile, 290 people have died at the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust, and 268 people have died at the Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust.
A total of 391 have died at the Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust, and 230 have died at the Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust.
And 360 have died at the University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust, which runs Stafford's County Hospital.
It comes as NHS England announced a further 10 people had died from coronavirus in hospitals, in figures announced on Monday, taking the total to 30,176.
A spokesman for NHS England said: "A further 10 people, who tested positive for coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 30,176.
"Patients were aged between 67 and 91 years old. All but one patient – aged 85 years old – had known underlying health conditions.
"Date of death ranges from October 1 to October 3, 2020 with the majority being on or after October 2.
"Their families have been informed."
