Two more coronavirus deaths reported in Birmingham and Staffordshire hospitals
A further two coronavirus patients have died in hospitals in Birmingham and Staffordshire.
No new deaths were announced for hospitals across the Black Country, in figures released on Thursday.
The latest figures take the total of deaths in hospitals in the region to 2,612.
One death was confirmed at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust, which runs Stafford's County Hospital, on September 26, bringing the total to 357.
And one death was confirmed at the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHBT), which runs the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, taking the total to 1,006. The death was recorded on September 28, according to NHS England.

No new deaths were announced at the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust, the Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust, Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust or the Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust.
It comes as NHS England announced a further 44 people had died from coronavirus in hospitals, in figures announced on Thursday, taking the total to 30,049.
A spokesman for NHS England said: "A further 44 people, who tested positive for coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 30,049.
"Patients were aged between 60 and 99 years old. All had known underlying health conditions.
"Date of death ranges from September 18 to September 30, 2020.
"Their families have been informed."
