One more coronavirus death in the West Midlands
One more hospital patient has died of coronavirus in the West Midlands - bringing the region's total deaths announced this weekend to three.
One hospital patient died at the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust on Friday, according to NHS figures released today.
And data published yesterday showed two patients died at the same trust - which runs Queens Elizabeth Hospital - on Wednesday.
Across England, 12 more hospital patients have died from Covid-19, according to the data published today.
A spokesman for the NHS said: "Patients were aged between 62 and 98 years old. All had known underlying health conditions."
It brings the coronavirus death toll in England to 29,747.
