Wolverhampton McDonald's deep cleaned after worker tests positive for Covid
A McDonald's restaurant in Wolverhampton has been deep cleaned after an employee tested positive for coronavirus.

The Fallings Park restaurant was closed on Sunday while it was cleaned after the employee tested positive last week.
The restaurant has opened just for delivery and drive-through today with reduced opening hours, from 11am-7pm. and will be operating 7am-9pm with these services for the rest of the week.

A McDonald’s spokesman said: “One employee at our Fallings Park restaurant tested positive for Covid-19 last week and is self-isolating.
"As a precautionary measure, we proactively decided to temporarily close the restaurant yesterday.
"The restaurant was deep cleaned by an external cleaning company and we contacted all restaurant employees.
"We have a number of safety measures in place to help keep our people safe, including perspex screens, temperature checks at the start of each shift, maintaining a two-metre distance from others as much as possible, face coverings, regular hand washing and the use of hand sanitiser.”
