Two mobile testing sites set up in Sandwell
Two coronavirus testing sites have been set up in Sandwell amid a surge of cases in the borough.
The mobile testing units are in operation in St Pauls Road, Smethwick, and West Bromwich Street car park, in Oldbury.
A council spokesman said the testing units have been in operation for the past few weeks.
Members of the public must book a test online before using the facilities.
It comes as public health teams in Sandwell continue to battle against a surge of cases seen in the borough.
More Covid-19 coverage:
Sandwell's director of public health, Lisa McNally, said it was important to keep rotating the test sites around Sandwell.
She told the Express & Star: "We keep moving these around so that we can make sure people have got access all over the borough.
"Having them in the same place is not that helpful."
