Dudley police chief praises 'incredible' health workers
Health workers in Dudley have been praised by the borough's top police officer amid the coronavirus crisis.
Dudley police commander Sally Bourner lauded them for their "incredible work" in battling the pandemic.
The death toll in the Black Country, Birmingham and Staffordshire now stands at more than 1,290.
Sally Bourner, Chief Superintendent, Dudley neighbourhood policing unit commander, said: "Myself and two of our police community support officers from the Brierley Hill neighbourhood team were proud to join colleagues from Dudley Council to clap for our carers at Tiled House in Pensnett.
"We wanted to show our appreciation for the incredible work our carers are doing to keep older people in care homes across our borough safe."
