Four part-time staff from the Wolverhampton Healthwatch group are set to move into the Civic Centre imminently.
The group was set up to give a voice for residents who have concerns about health and social care issues.
Councillor Paul Singh, vice-chairman of Wolverhampton Council's health scrutiny panel, said moving into the authority's headquarters would not only save money, but also give its staff greater and more timely access to both council social care colleagues, but also to NHS staff who are also located at the centre.
