Little Polly loses locks to help others
A youngster was left beaming from ear-to-ear after raising £500 and having eight inches cut off her hair for the Little Princess Trust.

Polly Davis, aged six, decided she wanted to help other children in need, so her auntie Sue Lubke chopped her locks into a bob at her salon, Beautique Hair and Beauty in Wolverhampton.
The St Paul’s CE First School pupil’s father Anthony, from Penkridge, said: “It was brilliant. It was all her own idea.

“She loves her long hair but she wanted to do something for kids who have lost their hair.
“She’s had it chopped into a bob and she’s going to grow it out again. She raised just over £500 which is enough money to make up a wig.

“She’s been beaming, she was really happy.
“She came up with the idea a couple of months ago and we took it from there.

“I thought she’d be a bit lost without her hair but she’s been beaming from ear-to-ear.
“We’re really proud of her, it’s a lovely thing to do.”
