A ward at Walsall Manor Hospital was closed for 24 hours over a scabies scare.
Ward 3 was closed over the weekend due to a number of people showing signs of the skin infestation, which is caused by mites.
The trust which runs the hospital said the situation has been resolved and the ward is fully open.
Karen Dunderdale, Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust director of nursing, said: “The quality of our patient care is our utmost priority.
