As many year 11s across the country prepare to take their GCSEs in the summer, many are considering their next steps after school. Central Saint Michael's Sixth Form helps make this process smooth for students by offering a supportive environment that sets students on the path to success.

The leap from school to sixth form

Central Saint Michael's understands the step from school to sixth form can feel daunting and has developed a welcoming and structured approach to help students adapt. From the moment they apply, students receive personalised guidance to ensure their transition is stress-free.

Dr. Matt Lamb, Principal at the College says: "Starting Sixth Form is a really exciting step and at Central Saint Michael’s, we provide the support and resources students need to thrive academically and personally, giving them the confidence to achieve their goals and set them up for their future career".

A tailored approach for each student

Each student at the college is given their own personal tutor who works closely with them from the moment students start in September up until they receive their results. The tutors offer them both academic and personal support to help students thrive.

Building skills for the future

At Central Saint Michael's Sixth Form, students are spoilt for choice and flexibility with over 30 A Levels and Diplomas to choose from. The College also focuses on developing essential personal and social skills, preparing students for higher education, apprenticeships, or employment.

Free travel for all students

All students at the college receive a free bus pass which can be used 365 days a year. This benefit not only eases financial pressures on students and families but also gives learners the independence to explore opportunities beyond their studies.
