Winner 2024 of The National Children & Young People Awards Fostering Agency of the Year
Families First Fostering have now won the award in this category for the last two years running. This year saw record numbers of nominations from over 900 individuals. We were shortlisted with 15 other Fostering and Adoption agencies nationwide.
The National Children & Young People Awards was held on 24th of October, 2024 at the ICC, Birmingham Care Talk magazine are delighted to host the National Children & Young People Awards. These unique awards celebrate excellence in care for children, young people and families, showcase innovation and best practice in this area and pay tribute to those individuals or organisation who excel in quality care provision.
The awards recognise accomplishments at all levels and from across the whole of the social care sector; including services for older people, people with learning disabilities and/or autism and children, young people and families.
THE FOSTERING & ADOPTION AWARD
This award recognises an exceptional fostering and/or adoption service that goes above and beyond in striving to find a short term family and forever families there should be evidence of a creative approach to overcoming difficulties as well as supporting families to nurture children.
What the judges said: Amanda and Rachel, Families First Fostering Ltd - The love and care these ladies have for the families and children they support is palpable and admirable. They ooze compassion and care. So many examples of going above and beyond for the young people they support and the parents. They are a much-needed voice in foster care.
