River Severn bursts its banks in Bridgnorth
[gallery] The river Severn in Bridgnorth burst its banks today, as flooding misery conitnued around the Midlands.
The waters have covered the Severn Park's play area and rugby pitch.
Jessica Campbell, a spokeswoman for the Environment Agency, said: "We continue to monitor the situation closely, working alongside partners including the Met Office and local authorities to prepare for possible impacts. Our teams are out in force checking that flood defences are in good working order, clearing blockages and monitoring river levels."

Meanwhile, Bewdley Bridge has been closed and extra flood defences installed as the River Severn continues to rise.
Flood barriers are currently in place along Severn Side North and South and at Beales Corner. The Environment Agency installed the final phase of the Beales Corner defences yesterday afternoon when the bridge was shut.
Wyre Forest District Council said it was expected to remain closed for a a number of days and would re-open once the Beales Corner defences were taken down.
Fire crews have been helping workers from the Environment Agency to pump overspill water back into the River Severn on Stourport Road.
While in Worcester, the River Severn is said to be at its highest level since July 2007. The Environment Agency shut the Hylton Road flood gates as the levels continued to rise.
Twenty-severn flood warnings are in place for the Rivers Severn and Avon in Worcestershire and the Arrow, Wye and Teme in Herefordshire.
In Birmingham two women have been taken to hospital after a tree fell on to a car during last night's strong winds.
A woman in her seventies suffered a chest injury and a broken leg after being trapped in the car on Stoney Lane in Yardley.
Another woman suffered minor neck injuries but the driver was uninjured, West Midlands Ambulance service said. Fire crews were also called out after a tree fell on to two houses and a car in Handsworth Wood.
