Woman injured in oil burner flat fire

A woman suffered burns and blisters after a fire broke out at her flat in Tipton.

Emergency crews were called to Fisher Street at 1.40pm after a woman was seen shouting help from the first floor.

But the blaze was put out on arrival and the woman was treated by paramedics for minor burns on her hands.

The fire was caused by an oil burner setting light to the woman's blinds.
