The road remains closed as crews wait for assistance in getting the lorry back upright and moving it away from the site.

Staffordshire Police spokeswoman Faye Casey said: "A scrap lorry has shed its load into a hedge on the street.

"No casualties were reported and crews are waiting for assistance to remove the vehicle.

"The road is expected to be closed for most of the morning and into the afternoon."
