Man fighting for life in Walsall 'may have shot himself with homemade gun'
A man fighting for his life in Walsall may have shot himself with a homemade gun, police have revealed.

Police were called to Barns Lane just after 6.30pm on Tuesday.
The man, thought to be in his 30s, was taken to hospital with a serious head injury. He remains in a critical condition.
West Midlands Police said: "Officers are continuing to investigate how the injury occurred, but it is not thought that anyone else was involved in the incident..
"One line of inquiry is that he shot himself with a home made gun."
