Man arrested and another suffers life threatening injuries in Kidderminster roof fall

A man has suffered life threatening injuries after falling from the roof of a property in Kidderminster.

Officers responded to a report of threatening behaviour on Sunday evening and attended a property in Radford Avenue.

As they attended a 31-year-old man had made his way onto the roof of a property where he fell to the ground.

Paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service were called to the scene around 9.30pm. The man was taken to hospital.

A 33-year-old man from Kidderminster was also arrested at the scene on suspicion of obstructing police.

The incident is also under review by the Professional Standards Department in conjunction with the Independent Police Complaints Commission.
