Man, 65, taken to hospital after Oldbury ladder fall

A man was taken to hospital after falling 6ft onto concrete blocks in Oldbury.

The 65-year-old fell off a ladder at a property in the town at around 1.25pm this afternoon.

West Midlands Ambulance Service sent two ambulances to the scene and the man - who sustained injuries to his arm - was taken to Sandwell Hospital for treatment.

Paramedic Jon Ostrowski tweeted: "A 65 yo man in #Oldbury has fallen 6ft off a ladder onto concrete blocks. Immobilised, given pain relief."
