Driver taken to hospital after A449 crash
A driver has been taken to hospital after a two car crash in Penkridge.

The smash happened on the A449 Stafford Road at around 12.30pm.
A blue Ford Focus and a black VW Golf were involved in the crash, which blocked the road at the Spread Eagle pub island.
The woman was taken to Stafford Hospital although the extent of her injuries are not yet known.
Firefighters from Penkridge and Cannock were called and the woman was cut free from her car.
The other driver is not thought to have been injured.
The road was cleared just before 2pm.
