Meanwhile, there were delays on Stafford Road today after a black car was left teetering on its side after a crash with a lorry.

Fire crews had to cut a person out of the car following the accident outside motoring and bike store Halfords near the Five Ways Island at around 11.15am.

The road was closed for an hour and a half.

Emergency services say no-one was injured in the crash.

Police said there was oil on the road and officials had been contacted to remove the spillage.
