M5 closes after car hits central barrier

Part of a Midland motorway was closed after a car crashed into the central reservation.

Fire and ambulance crews were called to the M5 northbound between junction three for Halesowen and junction two for Oldbury at 9.50pm last night.

One car had crashed into the central barrier.

One person was treated for leg injuries.

The accident closed two lanes.

The road was expected to fully reopen by 4am.

Fire crews from Cradley Heath, Oldbury, West Bromwich and Woodgate Valley were in attendance.
