Pensioner knocked down by car in Wolverhampton
A man in his 70s was injured today when he was knocked down by a car in Wolverhampton.

Emergency services were called to Stafford Road near to Bee Lane, Fordhouses, shortly after 10.15am today.
The man was left with a head injury, shoulder and knee pain and was taken to the city's New Cross Hospital.
No one else was injured.
Elsewhere in the region, a driver and passenger had a lucky escape after a car crashed and overturned.
It happened at around 1.55pm on Worcester Lane in Pedmore.
The car appeared to have crashed through a fence next to a railway embankment badly damaging the vehicle.
The two occupants were already outside of the vehicle and unhurt by the time fire crews, police and the ambulance service arrived.
Fire crews made the vehicle safe and the road was briefly closed as it was removed.
