New appeal for missing Wolverhampton pensioner

A renewed appeal has been launched to trace a 66-year-old man who went missing from his Wolverhampton home more than a month ago.

Pensioner Brian Wafer, who has Parkinson's Disease, left his home in Cavendish Gardens in East Park on July 25.

Police have issued a new image of the 66-year-old as fears for his safety mount.

Police constable Alex Cockayne said: "The last reported sighting of Brian was in Bilston, but we have no confirmation that it was him. We are keen to hear from anyone who thinks they have seen him. His family are extremely worried about him."

Mr Wafer is described as a slim, white man, 5ft 7ins tall with short, greying hair, blue eyes and is clean shaven. On the day of his disappearance he was wearing a black denim jacket over a navy blue t-shirt with a diamond pattern on the front, blue jeans and black shoes.

Anyone who has seen Mr Wafer should contact police on 101 Missing People anonymously on 116 000.
