Pedestrian hit by car in Stafford
A pedestrian has been airlifted to hospital after he was knocked down by a car near a retail park in Stafford.

The 51-year-old man from Rugeley suffered serious head and leg injuries and was taken to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire in Stoke.
Police were called to the A34 Lichfield Road close to Hough Retail Park just after 3pm today.
The driver of the Fiesta involved, a 28-year-old woman from Stoke, was uninjured.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
