Fire crews were called to Newton Road just after 9pm last night to find the woman, who was seven months pregnant and two children aged five and eight.

Crew commander Andy Bolwell from West Bromwich fire station said: "The car, a Vauxhall Corsa, had rolled multiple times and hit a tree.

"Police weren't concerned that she was going fast, she lost control and skidded down the road."

The three, who were already out of the car when fire crews arrived, were taken to City Hospital in Birmingham with minor injuries.

Two crews from West Bromwich attended.
