Police appeal over Wednesbury crash rescue three
Police have urged three men who came to the aid of two injured motorcyclists after a head-on crash in Wednesbury to come forward.
Darryl Savage, aged 20, and his 24-year-old friend Ashley were critically injured after their bikes collided at around 6.15pm last Sunday.
They are now recovering at Queen Elizabeth Hospital where their condition is described as serious.
Darryl's mother Tracey has already appealed for the public's help in finding three men who stopped at the scene.
Insp Mark Watkins said: "We continue to investigate this incident and are keen to understand the circumstances leading up to it."
Darryl, of Myvod Road in Wednesbury, suffered multiple injuries in the crash on a dirt track off St Paul's Road. He was airlifted to hospital along with the other injured man.
