Families flee as blaze hits Stourbridge flats

A fire took hold at flats in the Black Country, killing a cat and forcing families to flee.

One teenager and his father jumped from their first floor window to escape the blaze in Wollescote, Stourbridge.

Mark Skinner and his son Liam, aed 19, who live in a first floor flat in Archer Court, jumped 15ft from the window.

The fire began in the living room of an apartment at around 5pm on Saturday.
