Delays for drivers after four crashes on region's roads

Road crashes caused delays for drivers on the region's highway network.

A motorcyclist suffered back and shoulder injuries in a smash, in Lichfield Road, Wednesfield at 7.20pm last night. He was taken to nearby New Cross Hospital.

A woman in her 20s had to be cut free from a Fiat Punto which left the road and mounted a grass verge at the Cinder Bank island on Dudley Southern Bypass at around 5.15am today.

The A456 Birmingham Road at the junction with Hurcott Lane in Kidderminster was blocked today after an accident between a motorbike and a car at around 7.10am.

Six children and three adults were taken to hospital after a crash involving a car and people carrier at the junction of the A38 and Fradley Lane, near Lichfield, at around 6.45pm last night.
