Three injured in Willenhall and Oldbury crashes
Three people were left injured after two separate crashes in the Black Country.
In one, a man had to be cut from his car by firefighters before he could be taken to hospital.
The smash, involving a blue Vauxhall Corsa and a red Renault Laguna, happened in Kipling Road, Willenhall, just before 5.15 last night.
The man was taken to hospital suffering from neck and back pain.
Elsewhere, a woman was injured when a car and lorry collided in Oldbury, causing a road to be closed.
Emergency services were called to the junction of Wolverhampton Road and Titford Road at 4.20pm yesterday. Three women were helpedout of the Nissan Micra by the ambulance crew.
One of the women, who was in her 20s, was treated for neck pain by paramedics.
The two men in the lorry were not injured.
Damage was caused to both vehicles, and police closed the road for 20 minutes while fire and ambulance crews remained at the scene.
Firefighter Ivor Taylor, from Oldbury fire station, said: "We had to close the road from Titford Road and Birchley Island."
