Woman led to safety after Oldbury house fire
An elderly woman had to be led to safety after a house fire in Oldbury this evening.

Firefighters from the town's station were called to the house on Cornwall Drive in the Brandhall area at 5.20pm.
West Midlands Fire Service Group Commander Nigel Sowden said: "They quickly established a pan had been left unattended on the stove."
An elderly woman was led to safety by firep fighters. She was checked by an ambulance crew at the scene as a precaution, Mr Sowden added.
