Road is shut after Birmingham shoe shop blaze
A busy route into Birmingham was closed today after a fire at a shop.

More than 50 firefighters were tackling a blaze at the Stead and Simpson shoe store on High Street in Harborne.
The fire was at the back of the mid-terrace shop in the store room. Seven crews were called to the blaze at 5.55am.
Harborne High Street was shut between Lordswood Road and Metchley Lane The fire was under control by 10.30am.
Meanwhile, a man and boy were helped to safety after a fire broke out in their Cradley Heath home.
The fire broke out in the living room of the third-floor flat in Elm Tree Way about 3.50pm yesterday.
They were not injured.
