Three hurt in Kidderminster crash
Three people were taken to hospital after a crash in Kidderminster this afternoon.
A stretch of the A448 Comberton Road was closed as a result of the accident and was expected to remain closed until the early evening.
Two people, a man and a woman, had to be cut out of their VW Golf by firefighters after the crash with a Renault Megane at around 2.15pm on the A448, near the junction with Hillgrove Crescent.
A woman who was driving the Megane was also taken to the Worcestershire Royal with chest and neck injuries. A man who was a passenger in her car was not injured.
The road was expected to remain closed until the early evening from the junction with Somerleyton Avenue and the roundabout at the junction with Spennells Valley Road.
Any witnesses to the crash should call Rubery Police Station on 101.
