Supermarket van hits lamp-post in Wolverhampton
A supermarket van hit a lamp-post and a telephone distribution box in Wolverhampton, damaging street furniture, yesterday.

The Waitrose van was involved in a smash in Compton Road West, Wolverhampton at 3.30pm yesterday.
The road was closed until 6pm. BT engineers were called out to ensure the distribution box on the pavement was safe, while emergency services reported the damage to the lamp-post to the city council.
It is believed no-one suffered serious injuries. Police are investigating.
Passer-by Geoff Lewis, of Finchfield, who took a photograph of the crash scene, said: "It appeared that the driver was out of the van and talking to the police."
