A driver was cut free from his car after it hit a lamp post on a dual carriageway in Halesowen.
Firefighters removed the roof of the Peugeot 206 to free the man.
Emergency services were called to Bromsgrove Street at 7.45 last night.
The man, who is in his early 20s, complained of neck and back pain and was taken to hospital.
