List of Black Country schools shut as snow falls across region

Several schools in the Black Country have closed as snow falls across the region.

Many people woke up to wintery temperatures on Tuesday morning (November 19) and a dusting of snow on their cars and homes.

The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for snow and ice on Monday evening covering parts of the West Midlands, which is in force until 11am on Tuesday.

Residents in Wolverhampton, Walsall, Lichfield and Shropshire are among those who might be affected.
