School celebrates after retaining 'good' rating following Ofsted inspection
Teachers and pupils at a senior school are celebrating after retaining its "Good" Ofsted rating after five years.
Inspectors gave Rugeley's The Hart School an overall thumbs up in the key operational areas, but stated that some teachers were not adapting lessons to meet the needs of all its pupils.
The latest report stated that it was a warm and friendly site and that pupils felt safe, however, more effort was needed to further improve their progress.
It stated: "The leaders are ambitious for pupils."
"The pupils display respect for people’s differences. Everyone feels that they can be an individual here. The relatively new behaviour policy is having a positive impact. Pupils behave very well in lessons and move calmly around the school site. They enjoy being part of this harmonious school.
