Kevin Brown, deputy head at St Christopher’s Catholic Primary School, said: “All of our pupils really enjoyed making and writing their cards.

"It was certainly a great way to get us all into the Christmas spirit and help to foster relationships between the generations.”

Samantha Watkins, deputy divisional sales and marketing director for McCarthy and Stone which manages both Retirement Plus properties, added: “The pupils at St Christopher’s and St Andrew’s have gone above and beyond to produce some incredible cards.”
