St Anthony's Catholic Primary School has been notified of two positive Covid cases and some of the pupils have had to self-isolate.

A spokesman for the school said: "There is a separate, private childcare provision that takes place outside of school hours, which has its own Ofsted registration and public liabilities. We have recently been notified that some of our children have been asked to self-isolate based on Public Health England advice.

"The academy has been notified of two confirmed cases of Covid-19 within class bubbles and has followed the guidance of Public Health.

"The school remains open for all other children and will continue to provide excellent online learning and support for our pupils during this time."
