A group of Year 10 students from Wolverley CE Secondary School in Kidderminster are inviting members of the local community to join them for a bargain three-course meal.

The meal, which is being held at Wolverley Church Hall on Thursday, March 8, from 12-2pm, was a project suggested by the students to help them fulfill an element of one of their 'Alternative Provision qualifications'.

Adrian Hobday, Access Lodge manager said: "The students have worked really well together planning the whole event. They have not only planned and practised cooking all the dishes on the menu, but they have designed posters and the tableware for the meal too."

Anyone who wishes to find out more or reserve a place for the community meal can contact Adrian Hobday on 01562 852265 or e-mail him at adrian.hobday@wolverley.worcs.sch.uk

All proceeds are going to the Children's Cancer unit at Birmingham Children's Hospital.
