Work is well under way on the £17.5m transformation of a secondary school in Wolverhampton.
Coppice Performing Arts School in Wednesfield is undergoing a major makeover as part of the city's Building Schools for the Future programme.
Wolverhampton-based construction firm Carillion has now completed the first phase of the work.
Students are able to work in the new Discovery Zone which includes state-of-the-art science laboratories and maths classrooms.
Brickwork and cladding has been completed on the school's new sports hall with work now under way to fit out the interior, including the changing rooms. It should be ready for use this autumn.
