More than £600,000 will be spent improving primary schools in Walsall and another school will be expanded to cope with a baby boom.
The decision was made by Walsall Council's cabinet chiefs during a meeting last night. Busill Jones Primary in Bloxwich, Pinfold Street in Darlaston and Woodlands Primary in Willenhall are all set to benefit from £616,000.
Butts Primary, Harden Primary, New Invention Infants and Junior and Rushall JMI are also to get a slice of the funding.
The cash will be spent on new windows, re-roofing and replacing the drains and comes from the £4.7 million capital maintenance allowance for this year.
