Adults in the Halesowen area will be able to find out about learning opportunities at a special enrolment evening at Leasowes Community College on September 12.

The part-time courses are provided by Dudley Council's adult and community learning team and include water colour painting, computers for beginners, jewellery making, pottery, yoga, guitar, ukulele, tap dancing and learning to speak Chinese.

Tutors will be at the enrolment to give more information about the courses, about how to sign up, and to help visitors to find a course to suit them.

Councillor Adrian Turner, cabinet member for housing, libraries and adult learning, said: "Learning in the local community has changed the lives of many adults.

"Our part-time courses are a great way to learn a new skill and meet new people so why not come and meet the tutors and find out more at our enrolment evening."

The enrolment evening is at Leasowes Community College, Kent Road, Halesowen on September 12 between 6.30pm and 9pm.
