Youngsters at a Midland school are busy enjoying their new outdoor playground complete with a pirate ship and teepee. The early-years play area is at Longford Primary School.

Emma Stote, head of the school in Ascot Drive, Cannock, said: "It has a fantastic new large climbing frame, wigwam, pirate ship and elephant slide.

They also have a new canopy area, where just in case the weather is poor, pupils still have the opportunity for exciting outdoor learning. The pupils think that their new play area absolutely fabulous.

"Longford Primary would like to thank Men In Sheds for the painting work they did and the Lynch family for their time and efforts. Now all of the pupils really want something similar.
