A 15 year-old boy has been charged with possessing a samurai sword in Walsall.

The boy, who can’t be named for legal reasons, is to appear at Dudley Magistrates Court on 5 February for a first hearing.

He has been charged in connection with possessing a knife blade in a public place.

It follows an arrest in the early hours of Thursday morning in the Bentley area.
