Car thieves dump dog in countryside after stealing car he was in

Callous thieves dumped a dog in the countryside after stealing a car in Shenstone.

Clyde was in a Land Rover Discovery in the car park of Toby Carvery, Birmingham Road, Shenstone, on Saturday afternoon (November 22) when thieves stole the car.

Distraught owner Harri Dunne raised the alarm on social media about the car and his dog. However, he tracked down his beloved pooch within hours.

He said: "Our dog Clyde was in the car luckily I tracked him with an air tag and found him couple miles down the road chucked out in someone’s field. Thanks to all the local people for the help to find him."

However, Harri's car is still missing and he wants help to find it.

He said: "We need to make this too hot to handle Land Rover Discovery stolen at around 4:30pm on Saturday from Shenstone Toby Carvery. Reward with any information provided and share it as many times as you can in as many different areas. Number plate to look out for is K7 HGD."

Harri's mother Alison Jane Griffin said: "Thank you to you all. Our dog found in Footherley Lane but the car was taken can anyone living in he lane let me know if the they have CCTV/door bell recordings on their homes. The dog was taken out by a house and put behind a field gate."
