Two more charged following Darlaston shooting

West Midlands Police has charged two more men after another man was injured following a shooting in Darlaston.

Samir Khan, aged 18, and Dilawar Khan, aged 19, were arrested in connection with the incident in Charles Foster Street on October 11. 

The pair, from Small Heath, have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder and conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life.

They have been remanded to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court today, November 2. It comes after three men were also previously charged and remanded.

A man in his 40s sustained injuries which were thankfully not life-threatening.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police, said: "We've charged two more men after another man was injured following a shooting in Darlaston.

"Samir Khan, aged 18, and Dilawar Khan, aged 19, were arrested in connection with the incident in Charles Foster Street on 11 October.

"The pair from Small Heath have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder and conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life.

"They have been remanded to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court today (2 November). It comes after three men were also previously charged and remanded.

"A man in his 40s sustained injuries which were thankfully not life-threatening.
