Police deploy stinger to stop cloned van in Wolverhampton

Officers spotted the vehicle in the city and followed it on Friday.

In order to avoid a pursuit, they deployed a stinger which they said "left the driver feeling deflated."

Police alleged the driver had false plates in an attempt to hide the fact he had no license, insurance, tax or MOT.

They also released an image of the van in question.
