Alfred Mattox, a carer, was found at flats in Hallet Drive in Merridale on May 10, 2021 and died two weeks later at Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Accused killer Vitalie Tanga, aged 40, of no fixed abode, will stand trial for his murder at Wolverhampton Crown Court next year.
